Meta One: verification, scheduling and Business Agent now sit in a monthly subscription
On September 15, 2026 Meta announced Meta One, a subscription service spanning Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI. There are Core and Premium plans for individuals and Essential, Advanced, Expert and Max plans for creators and businesses. The business plans offer a verified badge, impersonation protection, story scheduling, exportable analytics and access to Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp. Meta says the plans are available globally and that the core experience stays free.
From single-app plans to four business tiers
According to the announcement on Meta's official newsroom, Meta One builds on the Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus single-app plans launched earlier this year. The company said it is starting with more than 50 features and has reached 15 million subscriptions and trials to date, with coverage expanding over time to the Edits app and AI glasses. The structure has three layers. Single-app plans start at 2.99 dollars a month (WhatsApp Plus) and 3.99 dollars (Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus). For individuals and heavy AI users, the Core (7.99 dollars) and Premium (19.99 dollars) bundles add more usage of AI tools on top of the single-app features: more image and video generation with Meta AI, plus Restyle and voice effects on Instagram. For creators and businesses there are four plans: Essential starting at 14.99 dollars, Advanced at 49.99, Expert at 149 and Max at 499 dollars a month. Meta stresses that the core experience and everyday use of Meta AI stay free, and that subscriptions only unlock more specialized capabilities and expanded AI usage.
What the business plans include: badge, scheduling, analytics and an agent on WhatsApp
Essential, according to the announcement, focuses on establishing a presence: a verified badge, a verified channel in the WhatsApp Business app and impersonation protection (pending successful verification), tools to manage the profile, and more access to Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp to answer customers around the clock. Advanced moves to professional tools: scheduling stories up to 30 days ahead, links in organic posts and reels, exportable analytics, deeper audience insights, account access for team members without sharing a password, more linked devices and business broadcast credits on WhatsApp, plus more Business Agent responses. Expert and Max are described as the highest levels of feature access and Business Agent capacity for teams managing at scale; Engadget reports that the Max plan includes human support options, including phone calls with company representatives. All business plans share new features as well: an enhanced profile that showcases the website, locations and what customers say, a bold follow button on reels, and follow invitations sent automatically to people who engage with content. Meta also said it will soon bring Edits Plus into Meta One, with more cloud storage and additional usage of an upcoming Edits assistant that analyzes Instagram insights. The announcement notes that plans, benefits, pricing and availability may vary by region, app and account.
Meta puts business tools inside the app the customer already uses, not in a separate dashboard
For social media management, the significance is this: scheduling, analytics export and team access, for years the job of third-party tools, now open inside Meta's own apps through a subscription. Meta says so explicitly: manage your presence in the apps where your audience and customers already are, without setting up a new account or downloading a new app. Trust features such as the verified badge and impersonation protection go into the same bundle; for a small business, protection against copies of its account is now a monthly line item. TechCrunch writes that Meta One builds on the Plus plans of March 2026 and expands the company's subscription push. Meta reports that in early testing more than half of bundle subscribers used both AI and expression features, with Restyle and voice effects on Instagram among the top reasons to subscribe. The most notable business item is Business Agent on WhatsApp: an agent that answers customers day and night, offered with capacity that rises by tier. How that capacity is measured, and how many responses correspond to which plan, is not stated in the announcement.
A direct decision for businesses in Türkiye that run on Instagram and WhatsApp
Meta says the plans are available globally but adds that prices and features may vary by region and account; there is no local price or feature list for Türkiye in the announcement, and seeing it requires starting the subscription flow. In Türkiye many small businesses use Instagram as their storefront and WhatsApp as their customer channel, so this is not a distant platform decision but a question every business will ask itself in the coming months. The first half of the question is trust: a verified badge and impersonation protection carry concrete value in sectors where fake accounts mislead customers, such as beauty, health, second-hand goods and real estate. The second half is efficiency: story scheduling, exportable analytics and team access without password sharing move work now done with third-party tools or by hand into the app itself. One caution: the announcement makes no promise that a subscription increases organic reach; Engadget mentions better visibility in Instagram search, but Meta's own text goes no further than follow invitations and a bolder follow button. The decision should weigh the plan price against the time and tool costs the business spends on these tasks today.
The UNALSOFT view
Our reading is this: Meta One changes where social media management happens. Once scheduling, analytics and team access live inside the app, the difference is made not by the external tool but by the internal discipline: which content goes out when, who answers customer messages and how, what information the agent speaks from. That is what we recommend to clients in our brand management work: settle the channel character and content calendar first, then look at which plan carries that routine. A subscription does not replace a management plan, it executes one.
